Job summary

Times Microwave Systems is seeking a Connector Design Engineer to translate customer requirements into manufacturable RF interconnect solutions. You will lead conceptual modeling, analysis, and detailed design of interconnect products, supporting prototyping, validation, and transfer to production.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, Manage PLM, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS 9100 structure and requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, Program Management, and Application Engineering on new product initiatives.
• Design new products and modify existing ones.
• Facilitate transition of NPD projects from concept to release.
• Follow design release processes including specification matrices and risk analyses.
• Conduct design-for-manufacturability and cost assessments and suggest changes.
• Develop assembly processes and tooling; support prototyping and validation.
