Job summary

Ka-Comm, Inc. is seeking an Electronic Service and Systems Technician to support Two Way Communications installations and repairs. You will troubleshoot RF systems in mobile and fixed environments, including in PSAP centers and tower sites, using industry test gear and hand tools.

The role requires ability to install, diagnose, program, and repair RF equipment, read plans and specifications, and document all service activities. Travel to customer sites is expected as part of this position.

Qualifications

• Post-high school electronics education/training preferred; experience can substitute.
• Travel to tower sites and customer locations may be required.
• Must possess hand tools common to the trade: multi meter, soldering, crimpers.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, program, and repair RF equipment (E).
• Use a variety of test equipment for repairs and programming (E).
• Operate hand and power tools (E).
• Determine material needs and order parts for maintenance or replacement (E).
• Complete service paperwork and records and submit timely (E).
• Respond to emergency repair needs (E).
