Job summary

RSCC Wire & Cable LLC, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to bridge engineering insight with customer needs and deliver practical solutions. The role collaborates with customers, sales teams and product development to assess requirements, design solutions, and provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including demonstrations and cost estimates.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science and at least 5 years in a related role with RF/Coax

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the wire and cable industry with RF/Coax experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% initially and ~60% after ramp-up.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and technical requirements for RF and data communications.
• Provide technical expertise and support during pre-sales and post-sales activities, including design and accurate cost estimating.
• Develop and deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and technical proposals to prospective and existing customers.
• Customize and configure products to meet customer specifications.
• Conduct product testing and validation to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions and support to customers.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams, advocating for customer needs and providing feedback for product improvement.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to enhance offerings.
• Assist in developing technical documentation, training materials, and knowledge base articles.
