Job summary

Times Microwave Systems in Wallingford, CT is seeking a Manufacturing Document Engineer to capture and organize tribal knowledge and address root causes in manufacturing documentation. You will partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to create, review, release, and maintain technical and manufacturing documents, and support Oracle maintenance and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field required.
• Experience applying Lean principles and Six Sigma in manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and manufacturing docs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SolidWorks preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Capture and document tribal knowledge to improve documentation.
• Create, review, and maintain manufacturing and testing documents.
• Perform and manage assembly document redlines.
• Identify root causes of documentation issues and drive corrective actions.
• Support process improvements and document control across teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and configuration control.
