Job summary

Optimus Technology, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics and real-time processing, with emphasis on performance and scalability. You will review tests, diagnose defects, and participate in system design tradeoffs with hardware and software teams.

The role requires deep Python and C/C++ skills, scripting proficiency, and RF signals familiarity. STM32 experience and Raspberry Pi exposure are desired.

Qualifications

• General Python scripting and large Python systems design/development.
• C/C++ systems design/development.
• Scripting languages (Bash, awk, sed, powershell).
• RF Signals Familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the constraints of the software development process.
