Job summary

RTX is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Receiver Exciter and Processing Architecture Department. You will design, implement, and optimize signal processing algorithms on CPUs, FPGAs, and GPUs for next generation radar systems on on-site hardware.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field, C++ experience, and Linux proficiency. Relocation eligibility and competitive benefits are provided by RTX.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field.
• C++ software development experience.
• Experience using Linux.

Responsibilities

• Perform system integration activities on distributed heterogeneous signal processing systems running Linux.
• Code, test, and integrate C++ embedded and/or real-time signal processing algorithms or control functions.
• Defect resolution and code maintenance/updating of existing codebases.
• Analyze numerical accuracy, runtime latency, and other system metrics.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and other software engineers to understand and implement end-user requirements.
• Maintain high code quality by supporting code reviews, static analysis, continuous integration.
