Yoh in McLean, VA is seeking an RF / Antenna Engineer to develop advanced wireless systems, antennas, and SDR solutions. This hands-on role emphasizes RF design, electromagnetics, prototyping, simulation, and product development, with opportunities to move designs into production.

You will model antennas, perform RF simulations using HFSS, CST, or FEKO, support testing and integration, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in RF engineering, antenna design, electromagnetics, and wireless communications.
• Hands-on experience developing RF hardware, SDR platforms, or communication systems.
• Strong background with RF simulation and EM modeling tools such as HFSS.
• Experience with system integration, testing, and performance analysis.

RF / Antenna Engineer

RF Communications / SDR / Antenna Design Overview Seeking an RF / Antenna Engineer to develop advanced wireless communication systems, antenna technologies, and Software Defined Radio (SDR) solutions. This is a hands-on role focused on RF design, electromagnetics, prototyping, simulation, and product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop RF communications systems, antennas, and SDR-based solutions.
• Perform antenna modeling, RF simulation, and electromagnetic analysis using HFSS, CST, FEKO, or similar tools.
• Support prototyping, integration, testing, and optimization of wireless communication systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to transition designs into production-ready products.
• Conduct laboratory and field testing to validate system performance.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in RF engineering, antenna design, electromagnetics, and wireless communications.
• Hands-on experience developing RF hardware, SDR platforms, or communication systems.
• Strong background with RF simulation and EM modeling tools such as HFSS.
• Experience with system integration, testing, and performance analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in defense, aerospace, EW, SIGINT, satellite communications, or secure wireless systems.
• Knowledge of phased arrays, beamforming, RF security, or advanced antenna technologies.
• Experience supporting product development from prototype through manufacturing.

Estimated Min Rate: $120,000/Annually

Estimated Max Rate: $170,000/Annually
