Job summary

Belcan Corporation seeks an Engineer Hardware 3 in Rolling Meadows, IL to join the defense-electronics team. This on-site, full-time role drives end-to-end RF/analog hardware development across concept, design, and test for DoD programs.

The candidate will work within integrated product teams and must have active DoD Secret clearance. Start date is immediate; duration is 6 months, with pay up to $93.47 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5+ years electronics design experience or MS with 3+ years.
• RF/Analog circuit design experience from schematic capture to test and integration.
• Hands-on prototyping and debug of RF subsystems and mixed signal hardware.
• Translate system specs into hardware requirements, design and test specs.
• Familiarity with DOORS, ClearCase and ClearQuest documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead full life-cycle hardware development from concept to field support.
• Design RF/Analog hardware using MMICs and discrete devices.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program Management teams.
• Ensure hardware meets performance and security requirements.
