Job summary

Belcan Corporation in Rolling Meadows, IL seeks an Integration & Test Systems Engineer to conduct integration testing and evaluate complex electronics from hardware/software design through aircraft installation.

This 5-month, on-site assignment requires a BS or MS in engineering with 2+ years experience, active DoD Secret Clearance, and hands-on experience with test plans, procedures, and scripts. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical degree with 2+ years of related experience or MS degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and firmware issues.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders across disciplines.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess an active Secret Clearance to start.

Responsibilities

• Generate test plans, test procedures, test automation, and test reports; execute integration test activities (system integration, DVT, qualification tests) in SILs or offsite locations.
• Work as part of the SEIT team to understand the systems engineering process across a product lifecycle.
• Ensure integration of hardware and software to meet design requirements and performance goals.
