Job summary

NOV is seeking a Coordinator, Production Control IV in Houston to oversee intercompany logistics and rework components. You will collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure efficient operations and meet production targets.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work in a warehouse and office setting. Overtime and weekend work may be required to support production demands.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years in warehouse, manufacturing, or production support.
• Experience with PN/SN/BOM data is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around heavy equipment.
• JD Edwards (JDE) or other ERP experience is a plus.
• Forklift and crane certifications, or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Manage intercompany shipments of rework components, verifying SN, PN, and BOM details.
• Visually inspect parts, prepare job packs, and organize components for reworks.
• Move reworks between staging, shop, and secondary processes with Scheduler/Buyer.
• Prepare and organize shipments to outside vendors and district operations facilities.
• Assist in daily forklift and crane inspections, ensuring equipment readiness.
• Support shop housekeeping and 5S initiatives, including cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with engineers to stage and rework engineering prototype components.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a safe work environment.
• Generate and analyze production reports, providing insights for process improvements.
• Assist management with various tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility.
