Job summary

ProAmpac in Wisconsin seeks a Rewind Operator to support our flexible packaging operations. You will read specs, set up equipment, monitor quality, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate with the shift team to ensure on-time production.

The role offers a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour schedule, time-and-a-half on weekends, paid time off, a strong benefits package, and growth opportunities within a growing company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous experience with rewinding equipment is a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills are required.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with employees from your own departments to foster a team environment.
• Reads specifications and schedules to prepare for upcoming jobs.
• Performs machine maintenance and routine checks.
• Occasionally uses forklift/roll clamp to transport product.
• Palletizes rolls and wraps on stretch wrapper to prepare for shipping.
• Ties bales on trim balers and broke balers.
• Sets up core cutter and cuts cores.
• Sets the next shift up for success and communicates at shift change to Operators and Supervisors.

What You Bring
