Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Rewind Assistant in Wisconsin to support the rewind department. You will assist with machine setup, supply materials, and monitor operations on a 2-2-3 rotating shift.

This role emphasizes safety, clean work environment, and teamwork, with opportunities to fill in during shifts and perform minor repairs under supervision. The company offers a stable environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous rewinding equipment experience is a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine setup.
• Supply raw material or components specific to the rewinder machine as needed.
• Monitor rewinder machine operations.
• Assist with routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoots minor technical issues, performs minor repairs or adjustments under guidance of the primary operator or maintenance personnel.
• Ability to fill-in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes, or as necessary.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Completes production logs or reports as required for documentation purposes.
• Effectively works with other departments or team members.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
