Job summary

ProAmpac in Neenah, WI is hiring a Rewind Assistant for our Rewind Department. You will assist with machine setup, supply materials, monitor operations, and help with routine maintenance on a 2-2-3 day/night rotation.

This role requires a high school diploma (GED acceptable), basic mechanical and math skills, and a detail-focused, team-oriented attitude. Forklift experience a plus; we offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine setup and operation.
• Supply materials for the rewinder as needed.

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Complete production logs as required.
• Operate forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.

Your Role: Rewind Assistant - Rewind Department

• Assists with machine setup.
• Supplies raw material or components specific to the rewinder machine as needed.
• Monitors rewinder machine operations.
• Assists with routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoots minor technical issues, performs minor repairs or adjustments under the guidance of the primary operator or maintenance personnel.
• Ability to fill-in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes, or as necessary.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Completes production logs or reports as required for documentation purposes.Effectively works with other departments or team members.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.

What You Bring
