ProAmpac, a global leader in flexible packaging, is seeking a Rewind Assistant to support the Rewind Department. You will assist with machine setup, monitor operations, and help with routine maintenance while ensuring a safe, organized work environment.

The role requires adaptability to a 2-2-3 shift rotation, with opportunities for overtime on Saturdays and Sundays. ProAmpac offers paid vacation, holidays, 401(k) with match, and a robust benefits package to support career growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience with rewinding equipment a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assists with machine setup.
• Supplies raw material or components specific to the rewinder machine as needed.
• Monitors rewinder machine operations.
• Assists with routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoots minor technical issues, performs minor repairs or adjustments under the guidance of the primary operator or maintenance personnel.
• Ability to fill-in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes, or as necessary.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Completes production logs or reports as required for documentation purposes.
• Effectively works with other departments or team members.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
