Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Rewind Assistant to support the Rewind Department. You will assist with machine setup, supply materials, monitor operations, and help with routine maintenance in a safety‑driven environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and basic mechanical/math skills, plus a team-focused attitude. This on-site role operates on a 2-2-3 shift rotation and offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine setup and material handling.
• Monitor rewinder machine operations and report irregularities.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs under supervision.
• Fill in or run the machine during shift changes as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Complete production logs/reports for documentation.

Your Role: Rewind Assistant - Rewind Department

• Assists with machine setup.
• Supplies raw material or components specific to the rewinder machine as needed.
• Monitors rewinder machine operations.
• Assists with routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoots minor technical issues, performs minor repairs or adjustments under the guidance of the primary operator or maintenance personnel.
• Ability to fill-in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes, or as necessary.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Completes production logs or reports as required for documentation purposes.Effectively works with other departments or team members.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.

What You Bring
