Job summary

STV is seeking a Structural Design Revit Engineering Specialist for our Building Structural Group in the Philadelphia and/or Douglassville Office. You will work on a wide variety of meaningful projects with engineering and design needs which will challenge you.

Join a collaborative team where you will create BIM models in REVIT, prepare project drawings, and ensure adherence to client standards while coordinating with other design professionals across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience preparing plan drawings and deliverables for building structures and foundations.
• Significant design experience with REVIT; samples may be requested.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform drawing development using REVIT and/or AutoCAD on building projects.
• Support drawing preparation for layouts, sketches, maps, and representations.
• Format drawings to client standards using several software.
• Create BIM models using REVIT.
• Collaborate with other production team members.
• Understand engineering/architectural documentation and prepare structural drawings.
• Work in a group setting and monitor projects for standards compliance and modeling errors.
• Review BIM models for design coordination issues.
