Gallo Mechanical is seeking a Revit Pipe Detailer to create detailed 3D models of piping systems and support design coordination with engineers, architects, and other team members. Responsibilities include interpreting specs, performing site visits, and ensuring code compliance to deliver accurate BIM documents.

The role emphasizes proficiency in Revit, attention to detail, and ability to communicate design updates effectively within the project team in a Raleigh, NC environment.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models of piping systems using Revit.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and team members to meet project requirements.
• Interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and other technical specifications.
• Address and resolve design issues within the Revit environment.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct site visits to gather data and verify conditions.
• Prepare material take-offs and bills of materials.
• Communicate design concepts clearly and updates to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Revit for detailed 3D piping models.
• Knowledge of BIM processes.
• Familiarity with piping design principles and system layouts.
• Attention to detail in drawings and models.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Problem-solving to address design issues.
• Field experience supporting site data verification.
• Trade coordination between HVAC, piping, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
