Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a REVIT Electrical Designer to support data centers and industrial facilities. You will develop electrical power distribution and control systems using REVIT and SmartPlant 3D, producing 3D models, schematics and load lists for construction teams.

The role is based in multiple U.S. locations, with relocation assistance to Lenexa, KS. Base compensation ranges from $72,000 to $120,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunity for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 5+ years in electrical design and 5 years in REVIT for data centers or similar facilities.
• Senior level: 10+ years using REVIT for industrial facilities.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of NEC and ANSI/IEEE standards.
• Experience with design for construction; EPC/Design-Build preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Revit 3D (primarily) and Smartplant 3D to draft electrical drawings for buildings and industrial facilities.
• Produce power distribution diagrams, schematics, One-line diagrams, 3D models, load lists and panel schedules.
• Coordinate cable routing, grounding, lighting, and equipment sizing with engineers.
• Lead design changes to stay within budget and schedule.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables in line with company standards.
