Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a REVIT Electrical Designer to develop electrical power distribution and control layouts for large industrial facilities. You will create 3D models in REVIT and Smartplant 3D, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and translate engineering intent into constructible drawings for EPC projects.

Based in Dallas or other Kiewit offices, this role offers relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related electrical design experience in industrial facilities.
• Experience with REVIT and Smartplant 3D is required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of NEC/ANSI/IEEE standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Mentoring junior designers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft electrical systems using REVIT 3D and Smartplant 3D.
• Produce power distribution diagrams, schematics, and 3D models.
• Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to resolve clashes.
• Ensure designs comply with codes and standards.
• Lead or support projects and mentor other designers.
• Identify scope changes and manage budget/schedule.
