Job summary

IA Interior Architects is seeking a Project Architect for the San Francisco studio. You will provide design support in development and contract documents under supervision of a Senior Job Captain or Architect or Project Manager.

Responsibilities include creating CDs, managing contract administration, coordinating with consultants and guiding junior staff while engaging with clients to define technical design requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of architecture or design school. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
• Architecture license required.
• 5+ years’ work experience on corporate interior design projects.

Responsibilities

• Creates construction documents (CDs) and reviews them for firm standards, codes and ADA requirements.
• Manages project through contract administration phase.
• Coordinates with engineering consultants to ensure design compliance and timely submission of documents.
• Mentor Junior/Intermediate Designers and provide feedback on work product.
• Conducts client interviews to determine technical design requirements.
