Our client, a leading legal services and technology company, is seeking a Review Manager to oversee managed document review projects from kickoff through completion while partnering with team leads, contract attorneys, and cross‑functional stakeholders. This individual will play a key role in delivering a high‑quality, client‑focused experience; balancing timelines, budgets, and competing priorities while ensuring consistency and accuracy across review workflows. The role requires strong expertise in managed review operations, including workflow design, quality control, and the use of tools such as Relativity and analytics‑driven processes. This person will take a consultative approach, collaborating with internal teams and counsel to implement best practices and proactively solve challenges across multiple matters. This is a remote position open to candidates across the U.S., with occasional travel as needed.
Under the guidance of the Director of Managed Review, the Review Manager will oversee the execution of day‑to‑day managed review activities while collaborating with contract attorneys, clients, and internal teams to drive successful completion of document review matters.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for successful delivery of managed review projects on time and within budget for clients
- Partners with review consulting and internal team members to manage one or more review projects concurrently
- Works closely alongside Team Leads to support project requirements and daily tasks
- Identifies reviewer staffing needs and coordinates with internal support teams on headcount, timing, and skillsets
- Collaborates with cross functional teams to ensure client needs are met through best practices and tailored workflows
- Maintains strong understanding of available tools and solutions including analytics and hosting platforms
- Partners with internal teams to support implementation of TAR and advanced review workflows
- Develops and implements workflows and quality control processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Supports review production structure and overall process execution
- Assists in developing and finalizing review protocols with counsel
- Demonstrates commitment to high quality client delivery
- Contributes to process improvement, collaboration, and innovation across teams
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with likely extended hours
- Occasional travel may be required
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree required; Juris Doctor degree with active bar status required
- Strong experience in managed review with hands‑on use of multiple platforms including Relativity
- Client focused mindset with strong service orientation
- Ability to collaborate across departments and coordinate project requirements
- Capable of working both independently and within team environments
- Effective communicator across all levels of the review process
- Strong technical proficiency and computer skills
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a deadline driven environment
- Quick learner with adaptability to new tools and processes
Expected salary for this role is $90,000 - $110,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
