Job summary

Sentar is seeking a Reverse Engineer 2 to analyze malicious binaries and determine functionality and indicators of compromise. You will contribute to malware detection and mitigation efforts within a secure environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on malware reverse engineering experience, strong skills with static and dynamic analysis, and familiarity with tools like Ghidra or IDA Pro. Security clearances and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI clearance with Active Polygraph.
• Experience with malicious binary analysis and malware reverse engineering.
• Familiarity with static and dynamic analysis tools (Ghidra and/or IDA Pro) preferred.

Sentar is seeking a Reverse Engineer 2 in MD!

Role Description:

We are looking for a skilled Reverse engineer to analyze malicious binaries using various methods and determine functionality and indicators of compromise. You will provide information that assists with malware detection and mitigation. Experience with malware reverse engineering is required and expertise with Ghidra and/or IDA Pro is helpful.

The Reverse Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:

• Perform technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, overcoming techniques designed to defeat analysis, in order to ascertain functionality, capability, call-backs, assist with attribution to adversary infrastructure, and identification of indicators of compromise.
• Provide information and documentation that enables malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.

Qualifications:

Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Active Poly

Education:

• Doctoral degree with 2 years of relevant experience
• Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience
• Associates degree with 7 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s?Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or university

Experience:

• CISSP, GIAC GREM or CREA Certification is required

Information Assurance Certification may be required
