Sentar Inc. is seeking a Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist 1 in Maryland to tackle cryptographic challenges and analyze large datasets. You will apply Python and PySpark to develop algorithms that break codes and improve cybersecurity, while leveraging distributed processing for big data tasks.

This role requires a TS/SCI clearance with poly and a strong programming background. Ideal candidates hold a CS/CE/EE/Math bachelor's degree (with programming and advanced math coursework) and have 2 years

Qualifications

• Clearance Level: TS/SCI with active Poly.
• Bachelor's degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with at least one programming and at least 4 upper-level math classes (Calculus and above)
• 2 years of relevant experience or Associate’s Degree with 4 years of in-depth relevant experience clearly related to the position.

Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist with expertise in Python and PySpark to help us solve complex cryptographic challenges and analyze large-scale datasets. You will develop and implement algorithms to break codes, secure information, and enhance cybersecurity measures. You need to have strong programming skills, experience in cryptography, and the ability to work with distributed data processing frameworks.

Qualifications

Clearance Level: TS/SCI with active Poly

Education

Bachelor's degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with at least one programming and at least 4 upper-level math classes (Calculus and above)

Experience

2 years of relevant experience or Associate’s Degree with 4 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position.

Relevant experience must be in a computer science area (i.e. theoretical or applied), designing/developing/using/evaluating mathematic models, methods, and/or techniques (e.g. algorithm or development) to study issues and solve problems, engineering (electrical or computer), and/or high performance computing.
