Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; two years related work experience including one year supervision.
• Ability to analyze complex accounts and financial information; protect confidential taxpayer, financial, and employee information.
• Knowledge of tax and revenue operations, cash handling standards, internal controls, and applicable laws and ordinances.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff; conduct performance evaluations; provide training, mentoring, and guidance; manage workloads.
• Oversee tax billings, delinquent tax collection, and revenue posting; ensure timely collection of County revenues.
• Coordinate with vendors and remittance processors; ensure contractual compliance and audit readiness.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide courteous customer service to taxpayers and County staff.
• Prepare fiscal year and operational reports; support process improvements for leadership.
