Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Octopus Deploy is seeking a Senior Revenue Systems Specialist to own revenue platforms, primarily HubSpot, and guide the Salesforce-to-HubSpot migration. You’ll ensure clean data flow between systems, enable sales and marketing teams, and support IT operations in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
You’ll collaborate across IT, sales, and marketing, implementing integrations with Zuora and other tools while maintaining data quality and user-friendly processes.
At Octopus, we have one single aspiration: to be the standard for software delivery. We do this by shipping a product practitioners love and use because it makes their lives better. Our business model is entirely centered around actively driving adoption- we do 'sales' differently. Here, you get to be the hero, not the villain, and you work as a team to deliver results that help our customers succeed. Our success happens when we do that well.
We care that our Customers use Octopus because our product adds value to their business. Our employees join Octopus (and stay) because it's a rewarding place to work. We care that Octopus is a great investment for our shareholders.
We’ve been remote-first since 2015 and work with an uncommon level of transparency. You can read our public handbook to learn how we work. We have a transparent approach to compensation that ensures people doing the same work with the same skill get paid the same, with well-defined career pathways. We foster a supportive, collaborative, and high-trust environment. We leave our job titles at the door and focus on doing what’s best for our customers and team. Our leaders never shy away from answering the tough questions at our all-hands calls or in 1:1s. We conduct interviews and onboarding virtually as part of being a remote-first company.
Are you the person who makes a CRM actually work for the people using it? Do you get as much satisfaction from a clean integration as from a sales team that never has to think about their tools? We'd love to hear from you.
Our IT Operations team owns HubSpot and the wider revenue stack, and we're in the middle of moving from Salesforce to HubSpot. We're looking for someone who pairs an IT operations background with hands‑on revenue systems experience to own that platform and help shape where it goes next.
You’ll join our small, remote IT Operations team as an individual contributor. The role sits between IT and our sales and marketing teams. You’ll keep the tools our salespeople use every day simple to work with, while making sure data moves cleanly between systems and supports how we run the business.
In your first few months, you’ll dive into our systems, starting with our HubSpot implementation. You’ll get to know everything the Salesforce migration affects so you can help deliver it.
This is a remote role. To help our teams work together effectively, you’ll need to be located in the US Pacific time zone, the East Coast of Australia, or in New Zealand, with unrestricted rights to work there. We’re not able to offer visa sponsorship or relocation support for this role.
Below is the interview process you can expect for this role. We know interviewing can seem daunting, but rest assured we designed our interview process to move quickly while still getting you all the information you need.
[30 min] Meet a Talent Acquisition team member. You’ll learn more about life at Octopus and the role, and we’ll ask questions to understand your suitability for the role.
[45 min] Meet our Senior IT Manager to talk about your experience, how you like to work, and the problems we’re hoping to solve together.
[75 min] Meet a small panel from IT Operations and other cross‑functional partners for this role. This is where we dig into how you’ll own the revenue stack and work with the teams who rely on it.
Final chat (if needed) If either of us has more questions, we may add a short final chat with the hiring manager. Often, this is a chance for you to interview us.
