Job summary

Verse Medical, Inc. is seeking a detail-driven Revenue Strategy Associate to join the revenue cycle team. You will own denial lifecycle management, analyze payer patterns, and translate findings into process improvements that recover revenue.

You will collaborate with coders, billers, and front-line staff while navigating payer portals and CPT/ICD codes. A strong analytics background and healthcare know-how are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in RCM, with 1–2 years in a consulting or advisory capacity.
• Experience resolving denials across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers.
• Proven history of direct payer outreach and end-to-end appeals lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze denial patterns across payers and product lines to identify systemic root causes.
• Conduct direct payer outreach, call insurance representatives, and escalate cases to uncover denial root causes.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports showing denials, causes, and remediation progress.
• Develop denial prioritization methodologies in coordination with the head of RCM.
• Perform root-cause analysis on high-volume denials and present actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with coders, billers, and front-line staff to reduce revenue leakage from upstream gaps.
• Monitor payer policy changes and advise on workflow adjustments.
