Job summary

Riveron is seeking a Senior Associate in Healthcare and Life Sciences Revenue Cycle Management. You will serve as an SME on revenue cycle management, reimbursement analytics, denial management, and payer contract performance across providers and payers, using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL to surface underpayments and guide improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• 3+ years hands-on provider and/or payer analytics experience.
• Strong knowledge of DRG, APC, RBRVS, and value-based models.
• Expertise in denial management with root cause analysis.
• Experience recovering underpayments through contract modeling and remittance audits.
• Proficiency with Excel and analytics tools (Power BI/Tableau/SQL).
• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy.
• Consulting or professional services background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical workstreams across RCM engagements focused on reimbursement performance and denial management.
• Conduct denial analyses by segmentation to identify root causes and quantify revenue at risk.
• Perform underpayment audits by modeling expected reimbursement against contract terms.
• Analyze payer contracts to assess reimbursement adequacy and identify rate discrepancies.
• Build and maintain dynamic reimbursement models and KPI scorecards.
• Evaluate remittance data and payer adjudication patterns to detect underpayment trends.
• Research Medicare/Medicaid updates and payer guideline revisions to inform recommendations.
• Prepare client-facing deliverables including reports, presentations, and financial summaries.
• Collaborate with MD and cross-functional teams to ensure analytical accuracy and outcomes.
• Support business development with data-driven proposals and benchmarking.
