Job summary

SeaWorld is seeking a Revenue Recognition Accountant to participate in day-to-day corporate finance functions, handling deferred revenue models and reconciliations for both the corporate office and parks. This role involves preparing journal entries, ensuring internal controls, and supporting financial reporting.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting and 2+ years of accounting experience with GAAP knowledge and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP with strong analytical skills.
• CPA or CPA Candidate preferred.
• Experience with SAP and Blackline is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deferred pass revenue models and deferred revenue account reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations with supporting records.
• Ensure effective internal controls for timely, accurate reporting.
• Provide assistance to other corporate finance activities.
• Assist in audit processes and ad hoc projects.
• Collaborate with management and auditors as needed.
