SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in Orlando, FL is seeking a Revenue Recognition Accountant to join the Corporate Finance team. The role focuses on deferred revenue modeling, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The successful candidate will support internal controls, budgeting, and audit activities, leveraging GAAP knowledge and 2+ years of accounting experience. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• CPA or CPA Candidate preferred; public accounting experience is a plus.
• Experience with SAP and Blackline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deferred revenue models and reconciliations.
