Job summary

The State of Arkansas seeks a Revenue Manager within the DFA Revenue Division to provide strategic oversight of its unit and ensure compliance with tax and child support laws. You will manage personnel, budgets, and processes to improve efficiency and customer service across tax administration, licensing, and related services.

Primary duties include directing day-to-day operations, mentoring staff, and analyzing performance metrics to inform resource decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting, finance, business admin, public admin, economics, or social work.
• Four years’ experience in customer service, bookkeeping, tax prep, cash handling, data entry, or admin support with leadership.
• Supervisory or leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operations of a revenue unit and ensure compliance with state laws and policies.
• Develop and monitor processes to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and service delivery.
• Mentor staff, supervise Revenue Supervisors/Coordinators/Specialists, and allocate resources.
• Oversee revenue collection, reconciliation, and reporting within the unit.
• Analyze financial data and performance metrics to guide decisions.
• Contribute to policy development related to taxation and revenue collection.
