Revenue Operations & Data Analyst II

Full Time Specialist Tampa, FL, US

2 days ago Requisition ID: 1387

Mad Mobile is an AI-driven software development company headquartered in Tampa, FL, revolutionizing the restaurant and enterprise retail industries. Our innovative solutions empower businesses to enhance customer experience, streamline operations, and drive growth through cutting-edge technology. From mobile ordering and payments to advanced point-of-sale systems, our AI-driven approach helps industry leaders stay ahead in an ever-evolving digital world. As a fast-growing organization, we foster a collaborative, dynamic, and inclusive culture dedicated to delivering exceptional value to our clients and employees. Join us in shaping the future of retail and hospitality through intelligent, technology-driven innovation.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Revenue Operations & Data Analyst IIto join our revenue operations team. In this role, you will own the day-to-day operating layer of our revenue engine - the reporting, deal support, and recurring cycles that Sales, Account Management, Finance, and executive leadership depend on to run the business – data analysis responsibilities in support of Finance and our Merchant-Facing Teams. Our revenue model spans subscription, hardware, and integrated payments, and this role touches all three. You will report to the CFO. You will own execution and recurring delivery within an established framework of metric definitions, pricing guardrails, and approval structure, with latitude to recommend improvements to that framework as you build tenure in the role. Success will be measured by the accuracy and timeliness of the reporting and analysis you own, your responsiveness to the field and to Finance, and your ability to surface issues before they reach leadership.

LOCATION: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Tampa, FL area. This is an in-office role.

NOTE: Must be authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future.

In this role you will:

  • Maintain the recurring reporting the business runs on - weekly pipeline, monthly revenue and payment volume, and quarterly performance scorecards - delivered on a fixed cadence to Sales, Account Management, Onboarding, Finance, and executive leadership.
  • Read, modify, and maintain production SQL against our enterprise data warehouse, spanning CRM, transaction platform, and general ledger data.
  • Build, publish, and maintain dashboards and reports in Sigma and Salesforce, including refresh schedules, access permissions, and supporting documentation.
  • Serve as first-line support to the field on quote construction, configuration, and pricing feasibility across new business, expansion, renewal, amendment, and conversion deals.
  • Build and validate quotes in Salesforce CPQ, monitor the approval queue, enforce pricing guardrails at intake, and report on discount and exception patterns.
  • Maintain pipeline data integrity ahead of every forecast cycle and produce weekly pipeline movement reporting and monthly variance analysis against plan.
  • Reconcile revenue and volume data across Salesforce, the payments platform, and the general ledger; investigate variances and identify root cause.
  • Produce payments revenue reporting - gross processing volume, effective rate, take rate, processing cost, and net revenue - by merchant, cohort, package, and segment.
  • Monitor merchant portfolio health, refresh cohort and health scoring models, analyze churn drivers, and deliver prioritized account lists to Account Management.
  • Support administration of variable compensation cycles by assembling attainment data, calculating payouts, reconciling with Finance, and researching rep-raised disputes.
  • Support marketing and partner channel operations, including lead routing in HubSpot, campaign performance reporting, inbound partner lead flow, and earned income reconciliation.
  • Support go-to-market systems work through request intake and triage, configuration within established governance, and user acceptance testing on releases affecting quoting, billing, approvals, or reporting.
  • Build analysis and supporting materials for board, lender, and investor requests, and own the accounts receivable aging and collections reporting cycle - including invoice and payment status research, past-due account follow-up, and cash application discrepancies - in partnership with Finance.
  • Own early termination fee calculation, validation, and billing for terminated contracts, and administer accounts receivable funding processes on payments deals, coordinating with the funding partner and Finance to resolve exceptions.
  • Assist Finance with ad hoc financial analysis requests.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • 4+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, business intelligence, data analysis, financial analysis, or a related analytical function.
  • Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write, debug, and maintain production queries against a data warehouse independently.
  • Hands-on Salesforce experience, including reporting, data hygiene, and working within a configured CPQ and approval environment.
  • Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills, including reconciliation, budget-to-actual variance analysis, and building clean, auditable workbooks that hold up to Finance-level scrutiny.
  • Interest in payments economics and a willingness to develop depth in interchange, processing cost, effective rate, and take rate.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate work against recurring, non-negotiable deadlines.
  • Clear written communication, with the ability to explain what a number means and why it changed to an audience that did not build it.
  • Sound judgment about scope - knowing what to execute independently, what to escalate, and what not to decide alone.
  • A team-oriented, service-minded approach to supporting revenue teams across the organization.

You may be a good fit if you have these additional skills and/or educational background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in restaurant, hospitality, payments, or vertical SaaS.
  • Salesforce CPQ or Billing exposure, or Salesforce Administrator certification.
  • Hands-on experience with a business intelligence tool such as Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
  • Experience in a business where CRM and transactional systems required regular reconciliation.
  • Exposure to commission administration, deal desk, or pricing operations.
  • Applied use of AI or LLM tooling in an operational context, including judgment about where model output can and cannot be trusted.

Our core values:

Customer – WE believe that our customers deserve the best from us every day.
