Elastic is seeking a dynamic Revenue Manager based in the United States to join a global software company. You will collaborate across Deal Desk, Order Ops, Billing/AR/Collections, FP&A, IT/Engineering to own Elastic Cloud Revenue and support the revenue close.

You will perform reconciliations, review contracts under ASC 606, and drive system improvements through UAT testing. A CPA or progress toward it is preferred, with experience in RevPro and NetSuite valued.

What is The Role:

We are looking for a dynamic Revenue Manager who is eager to collaborate and support significant growth at a global, publicly traded software company! Based in the US, this position will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Revenue Accounting.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Being a key contributor to the ownership of Elastic Cloud Revenue.
• Performing or reviewing revenue reconciliations and analysis, and managing complex, large datasets in support of the Revenue close process.
• Assisting across all Elastic revenue contract reviews under ASC 606 guidance.
• Determining appropriate revenue recognition for signed contracts.
• Leading and reviewing UAT testing to drive Cloud Revenue system and process improvements.
• Coordinating and managing auditing requests, including addressing auditor inquiries.
• Developing technical accounting positions and drafting memos.
• Evaluating revenue policies for scalability while maintaining consistency with ASC 606.
• Identifying and executing on opportunities to improve existing processes and controls and minimize risk.
• Developing and delivering internal training to enhance organizational revenue knowledge sharing.
• Supporting cross-functional partners (Deal Desk, Order Ops, Billing/AR/Collections, FP&A, IT/Engineering).

What You Bring:

• A detailed understanding of ASC 606, including SaaS-related principles.
• A general understanding of the Order-to-Cash process and the impact each step of the process can have on revenue.
• An understanding of AI and the impact it can make on a daily basis.
• Comfortability working independently in a distributed, dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities with composure in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Composure in evolving in ambitious circumstances.
• The ability to project manage and balance multiple priorities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Exposure to consumption-based revenue accounting.
• Big 4 and/or publicly traded technology company experience (preferred).
• Experience with RevPro and NetSuite (preferred).
• CPA or progress towards CPA certification (preferred).
• Experience with Google Workspace and Gemini across Workspace (preferred).
• Experience with Cloud Revenue from Marketplaces (preferred).
• Experience with automated Business Intelligence (BI) reporting (preferred).

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program. Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.

$106,900—$169,100 USD

The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is:

$128,200—$202,700 USD
