Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Revenue Management Analyst-Process Improvement to support the Revenue Management Department by identifying, quantifying, and executing projects that increase net revenue opportunities. The analyst will provide reimbursement analysis by reviewing practices related to system interfacing, audits, and contractual language affecting financial health.

As part of the team, you will report to the Revenue Management Manager and collaborate with multidisciplinary leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Economics/Statistics, Finance, Business Management, Healthcare administration or related field.
Three years of related health care administration/financial or revenue cycle analysis experience.
Experience with MS Office and data tools is required.

Responsibilities

Maintains and updates the monthly workload tracking document.
Performs and participates in other related duties as required.
Provides knowledge transfer and support to RMD staff.
Performs data collection, tracking and analytical duties to respond to key issues, increase/track reimbursement opportunities and process efficiency.
Assist in identifying trends for process improvement projects to increase net revenue and charge capture rates.
Works with Auditors and department management to understand services provided and opportunities for reimbursement.
Identifies administrative errors and discrepancies in charging based on audit trends.
Data mines from hospital information systems and runs reports to find opportunities for revenue generation.
