Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to perform reporting and analysis of the revenue cycle, assist with system issues, audits, and internal controls. This role liaises with leadership to resolve problems and improve documentation and billing processes.

Responsibilities include monitoring A/R performance, supporting regulatory audits, and educating departments on coding, billing workflows, and PM system implementations for new hospitals and practices.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• 1-3 years in hospital or physician revenue cycle, billing, coding or billing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare or related field.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for financial, statistical and operational projects; present detailed analysis of A/R performance and trends.
• Performs ad hoc consultative research on Revenue Cycle regulatory risk and payer audits; coordinates with compliance leadership.
• Develops and maintains a Quality Audit program and supports training for Revenue Cycle staff.
