Job summary

Candidates should have 3+ years in healthcare revenue cycle, LPN/RN and CCS-H/COC/CPC or RHIT/RHIA credentials, and strong Excel/Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in the healthcare industry with a working knowledge of hospital and/or physician revenue cycle functions.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare I/OCE, HCPCS, APC, and billing guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across departments to implement new workflows and ensure accurate charge processes.
• Owns and coordinates charge capture, coding, and billing edits with administrative and clinical staff.
• Serves as liaison for clinical charging and regulatory compliance per payer guidelines.
• Reviews patient records for charge capture and resolution of billing edits in conjunction with documentation.
• Promotes Service First and identifies opportunities to improve service and patient satisfaction.
