Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of charging and coding experience, proficiency with CPT/HCPCS, and a strong knowledge of federal and state regulations; Epic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience with CPT/HCPCS codes or charging required.
• 3–5 years coding experience required.
• 1–2 years third party billing and payment methodologies experience required.
• 1–2 years knowledge of Federal and State regulations required.
• SmartSheet experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing, coordinating, and implementing charge capture initiatives and processes to improve revenue management and revenue protection.
• Discover the root cause of revenue issues and develop corrective action plans and provide education on those plans.
• Working closely with assigned departments and ensuring work queues are being addressed and offering support, guidance, and education as needed.
