Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta seeks a Revenue Cycle Analyst to code and abstract CPT/ICD-10 for physician services, review documentation in EMR, and monitor charge capture. You will identify trends, educate providers, and help overturn denials to accelerate payments. Strong Excel/EPIC skills and communication are essential.

You'll work with the Coding Manager and operational leadership to deliver regular reconciliation reports and drive denial prevention strategies across service lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 3+ years in Revenue Cycle Analysis, Finance, or Healthcare AR.
• Proficient knowledge of EPIC EeMR and coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation to code CPT/ICD-10 and monitor charge capture.
• Identify denial reasons and develop strategies to overturn denials.
• Educate physicians on documentation for accurate coding.
• Audit claims before submission for accuracy and compliance.
• Develop reconciliation reports for leadership review.
• Maintain knowledge of payer guidelines and NCCI edits.
• Collaborate with physicians and stakeholders across departments.
• Track continuing education credits to maintain credentials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
