Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
• Certified RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CCS-P/CPC or CPC-H required
• Experience auditing medical procedure code accuracy and completeness
• Minimum of 3 years in a health care setting, preferably large acute care facility
• Extensive knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines for compliance
• Experience facilitating and training large and small groups and one-on-one training
• Ability to communicate with all departments interfacing with the charge description master
• Ability to collect and analyze cost data and prepare reports using computers and various software databases

Responsibilities

• Manage revenue integrity process to ensure accurate and timely changes.
• Audit charging for patient services and supplies for completeness.
• Oversee APC program by implementing changes and educating staff.
• Provide consultation to departments and entities; work with Manager of Revenue Cycle.
