Job summary

University Health KC is seeking a Revenue Integrity Analyst to support our hybrid work model in Kansas City, MO. You will manage revenue integrity processes, review code accuracy, and oversee APC-related changes while educating staff across departments.

The role requires healthcare coding auditing experience, strong Medicare/Medicaid knowledge, and the ability to deliver training to large groups. Collaboration with the Revenue Cycle team is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent education/experience.
• Certification in RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC or CPC-H required/maintained.
• Experience auditing medical coding accuracy and completeness.
• At least three years in a healthcare setting, preferably large acute care.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines for compliance.
• Experience training large and small groups; capable of one-on-one coaching.
• Ability to communicate with departments interfacing with the charge description master.
• Ability to collect/analyze cost data and prepare reports using software databases.

Responsibilities

• Manages revenue integrity processes to ensure accurate/ timely changes.
• Performs compliance duties for charging patient services and supplies.
• Reviews Charge Description Master for completeness and to establish charges.
• Oversees APC program by implementing changes and staff education.
• Works independently providing consultation to departments/entities.
• Work is received by the Manager of Revenue Cycle.
