Job summary

Stripe is seeking a software engineer to help design and build a suite of products that enable our users to model and operate their business more efficiently. You will work on projects spanning technologies, systems, and processes, designing, building, testing, and shipping great code daily.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, design, and operations teams to power Stripe users around the world with mission-critical features—both internal and external.

Qualifications

• 2-12+ years of experience in software development.
• Ability to write high quality code (Go, Java, C/C++, etc.).
• Hands-on experience contributing to or building large scale distributed systems.
• Strong collaboration skills, can work across workstreams within your team and contribute to peers’ success.
• Have the ability to thrive on autonomy, responsibility, and think of yourself as entrepreneurial.

Responsibilities

• Design the next generation of Stripe products, to meet the high growth needs of our company and customers for years to come.
• Deliver value through a strong collaborative and users-first approach with stakeholders and customers.
• Participate in roadmap planning and prioritization.
• Debug production issues across services and several levels of the stack.
