Job summary

Northern Waters Casino Resort is seeking an Event Sales Coordinator to drive revenue in the NWCR Event Center by leading end-to-end event planning from inquiry to execution. This role handles weddings, showers, retirements, company events, and banquets with a focus on memorable attendee experiences.

The coordinator will coordinate with Marketing, Hotel, and F&B teams to plan budgets, vendor quotes, menus, and staffing while ensuring timelines and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of marketing or event planning experience.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and nights.

Responsibilities

• Focus on client needs and coordinate with contacts for a smooth sales process.
• Follow up with potential leads within 24-72 hours of inquiry.
• Manage all aspects of event planning within budget and deadlines.
• Coordinate with Management, Marketing, Hotel, Golf Course, Purchasing, Maintenance and HR.
• Oversee setup, scheduling and staffing for all events.
• Collaborate with Marketing to capture event photos for advertising.
• Work with Executive Chef and F&B Director to plan menus and events.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
