Job summary

McKesson seeks a Lead Data Engineer / Architect to own data architecture, pipelines, models, and automation behind revenue analytics. You will build data for dashboards, month-end/quarter-end close, and leadership reporting, serving as the primary technical lead for Revenue Operations data work.

Collaborate with technical teams and business partners to deliver scalable data platforms, automate workflows, and enable governance across BI tools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data and application architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data models supporting sales, revenue, or financial reporting.
• Advanced SQL, Python, and scripting for complex queries and large-scale data processing.
• Deep knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, including metadata and lineage.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Data Factory.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support a cloud-based data environment for revenue and performance data.
• Define Revenue Operations data architecture and cloud data models.
• Own the full data lifecycle from collection to dashboards and reports.
• Automate data flows for month-end and quarter-end close.
• Develop data models and semantic layers for governed truth across BI tools.
• Lead architecture standards for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Integrate data from Salesforce, Outreach, finance systems, and other platforms.
