Job summary

McKesson seeks a Lead Data Engineer/Architect to own data architecture, pipelines, models, and automation behind revenue and performance analytics. You will lead the data lifecycle, from ingestion to dashboards, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and governance across systems such as Salesforce and finance platforms.

You will guide cloud, on-premises, and hybrid data solutions, applying AI capabilities like RAG and LLMs to practical revenue insights while maintaining strong security and data

Qualifications

• Typically requires 7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data architecture.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data models for sales, revenue, or financial reporting.
• Advanced SQL, Python, and scripting for large-scale data processing and performance optimization.
• Deep knowledge of data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and metadata/lineage.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Data Factory.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support a cloud-based data environment for revenue and performance data.
• Define Revenue Operations data architecture and cloud data models.
• Own the full data lifecycle from collection to dashboards and reports.
• Automate data flows for month-end and quarter-end close.
• Build data models, semantic layers, and governance for Power BI and Tableau.
• Integrate data from Salesforce, Outreach, finance systems, and other platforms.
• Design ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, real-time integrations, and event-driven solutions.
