CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines powering analytical capabilities.

This hands-on role focuses on translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions for analytics and data science workloads. You will model the Core Data Domain and collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver data solutions integrated with BI tools and ML models.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SQL with ability to develop complex queries.
• Experience in Python, especially for ETL pipelines.
• Experience deploying data pipelines in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of data governance best practices in a cloud environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with data scientists and analysts.

Responsibilities

• Model and architect data to support analytics and ML requirements.
• Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple sources.
• Optimize performance with partitioning and clustering to reduce costs.
• Establish data quality, governance, and security for data storage and access.
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate with BI and ML models.
• Create documentation and mentor junior data engineers.
• Design and architect data infrastructure for analytical workloads and data marts.
