Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle Technology to provide strategic and operational leadership for the enterprise revenue cycle tech portfolio, including Epic Cadence, Hospital Billing and Professional Billing. You will partner with Revenue Cycle, Finance and clinical leaders to optimize technology and workflows across the patient financial journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in computer science or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience managing application/technical revenue-cycle technology teams.
• Demonstrated experience with Epic revenue-cycle applications, including Cadence, Hospital Billing and Professional Billing.
• Experience partnering with Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, Finance and operational leadership to translate priorities into technology strategies.
• Experience leading complex implementations and cross-functional programs spanning revenue-cycle workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic technology leadership for Epic Cadence, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing and related revenue-cycle applications and integrations.
• Leads technology strategy supporting the continuum from patient access through charging, billing, claims, denials and payment workflows.
• Creates, fosters and maintains a team-oriented environment focused on customer service and staff development.
• Supervises and mentors team members, and manages performance and timelines on projects.
• Sets a technical vision that improves efficiency and serves as a resource to IS&T staff.
• Develops new methods of analysis, reporting, and communication of data and ensures effective implementation of new processes.
