Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced Advisor, Revenue Cycle Management to drive governance, configuration, and optimization of revenue cycle systems across multiple sites. You will partner with Finance, Operations, and IT to improve data integrity, reporting accuracy, and financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in revenue cycle management or related field preferred
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Strong understanding of medical coding, billing practices, and revenue cycle processes
• Proficiency in revenue cycle management software and MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative oversight of revenue cycle practice management system configuration, optimization, governance, and ongoing operational effectiveness
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for revenue cycle systems, providing consultative guidance and support to stakeholders
• Lead complex system configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancements with IT and vendor partners
• Evaluate system performance and processes to identify opportunities for workflow optimization and financial improvements
• Oversee insurance plan configurations within the revenue cycle platform for alignment with payer contracts
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish contract group structures and ensure accurate reporting
• Analyze payer and operational data to identify revenue enhancement opportunities
• Oversee fee schedule administration and support for financial reporting initiatives
• Manage coding updates with vendor partners for CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 changes
• Own provider and location master data governance across revenue cycle systems
• Coordinate with Operations and Credentialing to keep provider/location records accurate and synchronized
