Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Advisor, Revenue Cycle Management to strategically optimize revenue cycle systems and data governance across multiple sites. You will partner with finance, operations and clinical stakeholders to ensure accurate billing, coding alignment and contract-based revenue integrity.

The role emphasizes analytics, process improvement, and governance of provider and location master data to support scalable growth and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of revenue cycle experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical coding, billing practices and revenue cycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative oversight of revenue cycle system configuration and governance.
• Act as SME for revenue cycle systems; support stakeholders and ensure data integrity.
• Lead complex system configuration, troubleshooting and audits with IT and vendors.
• Evaluate system performance using analytics to optimize workflows and financial outcomes.
• Oversee insurance plan configurations to align with contracts and reporting.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Finance and Operations to maintain accurate reporting.
