Job summary

Phoenix Children's is seeking a Revenue Cycle Tech to support billing and collections operations in the CORP Central Svc Business Office in Phoenix. The role performs clerical duties to ensure accurate, timely processing of documents and payments in line with policies and regulatory requirements.

The position involves handling mail, faxes, and chart updates in Chartmax, assisting billing and collections teams, processing credit card payments, and performing related duties as requested.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and sorts daily paper mail and distributes to the appropriate person/department; uploads documents to the patient chart via Chartmax when required.
• Retrieves and sorts daily lockbox electronic correspondence; uploads documents to the patient chart via Chartmax when required.
• Provides in-office support for our billing and collection teams; prints documents (claim forms, reconsideration/appeal letters, payer inquiries) and sends via paper mail as needed; retrieves paper faxes and uploads to the appropriate team.
• Processes virtual credit card payments received from patients and insurance companies via our credit card processing system.
• Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
