Job summary

Jefferson Health Plans seeks a Revenue Cycle Supervisor to oversee daily operations of a revenue cycle team, monitor workflows and ensure quality assurance and process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in insurance revenue cycle functions (billing, registration, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Systems (EPIC).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Job Description

Supervises and monitors the daily operational functions and staff in an assigned subsection/subunit of a department. Monitor operational workflows, identify issues while focusing on quality assurance, process improvement and departmental goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson
  • Manages own assigned work queue(s).
  • Monitors daily operations of the team, assists in prioritizing daily work activities, resolving escalated issues, identify trends, address processing delays and areas for improvement
  • Makes recommendations and provides input related to hiring, terminations, performance evaluations
  • Informs staff of changes in policies, procedures, processes, systems, and regulatory laws and requirements.
  • Gathers department metrics and prepares reports for management review
  • Assist in leading, developing and mentoring of staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
