Qualifications

• Two or more years of medical billing experience.
• Knowledge of insurance carrier payment policies and amounts.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify patient demographics and insurance information for billing.
• Provide problem resolution on payer rejections and denials.
• Coordinate and analyze EOBs and reprocess claims per policy.
• Investigate and resolve unpaid claims to maximize reimbursement.
• Follow up on A/R projects and update status with management.
